เครื่องสแกนเอกสารหน้ากว้างในตระกูล Colortrac SmartLF SCi นี้ เหมาะสำหรับงานสแกนในชีวิตประจำวันมากๆ มันสามารถสแกนเอกสารขนาด A1, A0 แบบเต็มสีขนาด 24บิต ได้ที่ 12 นิ้วต่อวินาที ซึ่งช้ากว่าความเร็วในการสแกนขาวดำเพียงแค่ 1 นิ้วต่อวินาที เท่านั้น การเชื่อมต่อกับคอมพิวเตอร์เครื่องหลัก ก็ทำได้ง่ายและใช้มาตรฐานสาย USB 3.0 ที่มาพร้อมกับสแกนเนอร์ ทำให้การส่งถ่ายข้อมูลเป็นไปย่างราบรื่น

• เทคโนโลยีเซนเซอร์ตัวเดียว

เครื่องสแกนเอกสารหน้ากว้างในตระกูล Colortrac SmartLF SCi นี้ มีเซ็นเซอร์การสแกนแบบชิ้นเดียวซึ่งครอบคลุมความกว้างการสแกนทั้งหมดของอุปกรณ์ SingleSensor ที่เป็นชื่อเฉพาะจากแบรนด์ Colortrac เท่านั้นที่ได้รวมเซ็นเซอร์ และการส่องสว่างไว้ในบรรทัดการสแกนเส้นเดียวกัน เพื่อความแม่นยำในการสแกน ‘ทั่วทุกมุม’ ที่ไม่มีใครเทียบได้และการส่องสว่างเอกสารที่ดีที่สุดเท่าที่จะเป็นไปได้ ทำให้เครื่องในตระกูล SCi ใช้งานได้ง่าย เชื่อถือได้ ให้การสแกนคุณภาพสูงในราคาที่เอื้อมถึง 

• การบันทึกไฟล์ข้อมูลด้วยซอฟต์แวร์ตัวใหม่ SmartWorks Imaging

SmartWorks Imaging ได้รับการปรับปรุงใหม่ทั้งหมด ทำให้เกิดความชัดเจนในแต่ละเมนูคำสั่ง และใช้งานง่ายกว่าซอฟต์แวร์รุ่นเดิม คือ SmartWorks Pro ด้วยประสิทธิภาพองค์รวมที่เร็วขึ้น การควบคุมการตั้งค่าล่วงหน้าที่ได้รับการปรับปรุง ไดรเวอร์ติดต่อเครื่องพิมพ์ที่ดีขึ้น และ คุณสมบัติแสดงภาพขนาดย่อหลายหน้า ทำให้ SmartWorks Imaging กลายเป็นพันธมิตรด้านการผลิตที่สมบูรณ์แบบสำหรับเครื่องสแกนเอกสารหน้ากว้าง หรือ รูปแบบขนาดใหญ่ทั้งเครื่องในตระกูล SmartLF SCi และ SmartLF SGi ของ Colortrac 

• สั่งงานระยะไกลด้วย LINK

ทำงานอย่างชาญฉลาดยิ่งขึ้นด้วย LINK ซึ่งเป็นซอฟต์แวร์ที่ทำงานอยู่บนอุปกรณ์พกพา หรือ เรียกผ่านเว็บบราวเซอร์ก็ย่อมได้ LINK จะใช้งานได้กับคอมพิวเตอร์ทุกเครื่องที่เชื่อมต่อกับเครื่องสแกนอยู่แล้ว และมีการเปิดใช้งานซอฟต์แวร์ SmartWorks Imaging ร่วมด้วย เพื่อให้การควบคุมเครื่องสแกนเป็นเรื่องง่ายเพียงปลายนิ้วสัมผัส ผ่าน Preset ที่ได้สร้างไว้แล้วภายใน SmartWorks Imaging นั่นเอง

• พื้นที่เตรียมเอกสารขนาดใหญ่

เครื่องสแกน SmartLF SCi มีฐานรับกระดาษขนาดใหญ่ และใช้งานง่าย ซึ่งจะรับเอกสารเพื่อต้องการสแกนแบบหงายหน้าขึ้น ตรวจจับขนาดของเอกสารที่วางตรงกลางเครื่องสแกนเนอร์โดยอัตโนมัติ ทำให้สามารถโหลด และเตรียมเอกสารสำหรับการสแกนได้ในเวลาเพียงไม่กี่วินาที ผู้ใช้งานสามารถวางเอกสารที่เป็นไปตามขนาดแผ่นเขียนแบบมาตรฐานที่ตรงกลาง หรือ วางชิดด้านข้างขวาได้ ขึ้นอยู่กับการเลือกใช้งานซอฟต์แวร์ มีตัวกั้นกระดาษแม่เหล็ก เพื่อให้การวางตำแหน่งง่ายขึ้น สำหรับเครื่องสแกน SCi 42 มีความกว้างที่รองรับสื่อพิมพ์ได้สูงสุดที่ 44 นิ้ว (1117 มม.) และสามารถสแกนเอกสารหน้ากว้าง และแผนที่ที่มีความหนาสูงสุดได้ 0.08 นิ้ว (2 มม.)

• การดึงเอกสารแบบพลวัตร

จะแตกต่างจากเครื่องสแกนที่ใช้เซ็นเซอร์การจับภาพแบบวางสลับซัอนกัน เครื่อง SmartLF SCi ได้รับประโยชน์จากการจัดเรียงลูกกลิ้งเพื่อการนำพา และ กดเอกสารที่ทำงานร่วมกันอย่างเรียบง่าย และ เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพื้นผิวเอกสารจะสัมผัสกับเลนส์ผ่านแผ่นกระจกได้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ ลูกกลิ้งหลักทั้งสองก้าน และ ลูกกลิ้งกดอ่อนแบบแอคทีฟที่ทำงานตามความยาวของ SingleSensor ล้วนขับเคลื่อนด้วยมอเตอร์พร้อมๆกัน ช่วยให้สแกนเนอร์ตอบสนองแบบไดนามิก และ สามารถขจัดการรบกวนทางแสงที่เกิดจากรอยพับ และเอกสารที่ไม่สม่ำเสมอได้เป็นอย่างดี เทคโนโลยีที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของ Colortrac นี้ช่วยให้มั่นใจได้ว่าสื่อ หรือ เอกสารที่ละเอียดอ่อน เปราะบาง เช่น หนังสือพิมพ์ และพิมพ์เขียวเก่าๆ จะสามารถถูกสแกนได้อย่างปลอดภัย และแม่นยำโดยไม่มีปัญหาต่อตัวเอกสาร หรือ สื่อต้นฉบับนั้นๆ

เครื่องสแกน SmartLF SCi 42 ใช้อินเทอร์เฟซดิจิตอลชนิด SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ซึ่งช่วยให้สแกนเนอร์ทำงานด้วยความเร็วสูงสุดกับเอกสารขนาดเต็มหน้ากว้างของเครื่องสแกน หรือสแกนเอกสารขนาดเล็กด้วยความละเอียดสูงได้รวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น ผลผลิตที่ได้รับการปรับปรุงนั้น ทำได้ง่ายด้วยนวัตกรรมที่ช่วยให้ประหยัดเวลา ซึ่งมีอยู่ในเครื่องสแกน Colortrac ตระกูล I ทุกรุ่น

Colortrac recommends the software speed or quality settings be used to eliminate stop/start and maximize scan image quality at higher scan dpi/width combinations if a USB3 connection is not available

⁴ Thick documents up to 2mm must be flexible. Colortrac does not guarantee quoted speeds for thick media. Thick media should be scanned at reduced speeds to obtain optimal image quality. For heavy and/or thick materials the operator may need to support the document as it enters and exits the scanner. For larger sizes of heavy and/or thick media, Colortrac recommends the scanner be placed first on a flat surface and the operator supports the document as it enters and exits the scanner. Colortrac recommends the paper return guide is removed when using heavy and/or thick media in the scanner
